We’re looking for several hardworking, talented self-starters who are as excited as we are to spread the word about our delicious Organic Fair Trade coffee. Several openings are available in marketing, including: market research, social media outreach, copywriting, website content management and curriculum design.
Our team is highly caffeinated, and our company is located in Plainville, Connecticut, right outside of Hartford. Of course, the job comes with lots and lots of coffee!
All internships are remote.
The Ideal Candidate
You have excellent writing and verbal communication skills, you’re highly organized and you follow through on every task and assignment from start to finish. You thrive under pressure and enjoy working in a fluid work environment that is deadline driven and customer service focused. You also should be very, very comfortable using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT), have stellar internet research skills and be equally at home on a Mac and a PC.

Internship Scope
The internship focus is on social media. The intern will:
- Enhance presence on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter for SCR
- Enhance presence on Instagram and Facebook platform for SCF
- Content will include nutritional information, health benefits, ingredient information including source (family farms), and healthy recipes
- The intern will report weekly to the operations manager and monthly to the CEO

Sun Coffee Roasters has developed a unique and innovative program focused on bringing premium Organic Fair Trade coffee to colleges and universities around the country. We provide students with a chance to take part in the Organic Fair Trade coffee movement. Students can help their school’s efforts to be environmentally and socially responsible by working with their administration to make Sun Coffee Roasters coffee available on campus. Advanced packaging techniques allow for customized labeling for each school, including school colors and logo.
When the college serves Sun Coffee Roasters Organic Fair Trade coffee on campus, the school will benefit from more than just Organic Fair Trade coffee. We pay the school a royalty for using the school’s name and we donate a percentage of every pound of coffee sold on campus to a scholarship fund to promote sustainable living.
